Swamp Battle OCR is an Obstacle Course Race set in the beautiful North Florida landscape. Think of a trail run with fun obstacles, some water, and a little bit of mud. The distance will be around 3 miles with 30 obstacles. We strive for more fun than run!

Heck no! We have created a fun course for ALL skill and fitness levels. This is a fantastic first-time race for those wanting to try OCR. Scared of running? Walk! Unable to complete an obstacle? Go around it! Unless you are in the competitive wave, there are no penalties for omitting obstacles. The most important goal is for everyone to have fun!

We will post and email heat times by 3/20. Check your email or click back on the website and follow the popup instructions.

Your parking is covered in your Registration fee!

We aim to please with a wide variety of challenges ranging from simple dirt ditches and hills to rigs, monkey bars, and a few surprises. Seasoned OCR runners will find some old favorites and new ideas that challenge the mind as well as the body. If you can climb crawl, carry, throw, and swing you will be right at home!

You can come as you are and do your best (no one will fault you for it) but if you want to really test yourself against the course we recommend regularly running 5K distance for time while supplementing with some plyometric, strength, and cardio in the gym. Grip strengthening with some jumping and climbing is always helpful.

Yes, you can run as an individual or as a team! Create a team and have your friends register to run with you!

Yes, you will pick up your timing chip when you check in that morning. Run for time or just have FUN!

The kid’s race will be approximately one mile with age-appropriate obstacles. Kids aged 5-13 can run. There will be separate heats for ages 5-8  at 1:30 pm and 9-13. at 1:00 pm They will receive a t-shirt and medal for completion. This is not a timed race.

Your race will be deferred to the new race date. If you have a conflict with this date your options are:

1. Consider your entry fee as a donation. We are a 501c3 and can provide a receipt for tax purposes and we will mail you your race packet, shirt, and medal for you to do a virtual race.

2. Defer your race entry to a 2022 race.

Please allow us 48 hours to respond to all questions. Let’s all stick together and not panic. We promise you won’t want to miss this event!
